Conclusion

Upon review of the analysis, results indicated there is not a definitive difference between criminal justice and non-criminal justice majors on their perception of art crime & law. The researcher's hypothesis that criminal justice majors would perceive art crime as a serious criminal justice issue, given its connections to money laundering, organized crime, and potential to fund terrorism, are not upheld by this studies results. This can be a result of the small sample size and time constraints of the survey. However, this emphasizes the researcher's call for art crime to become a mainstream aspect of criminal justice curriculum and education, and the general need to further awareness of art crimes' global impact and role in destruction and deprivation of Cultural Heritage and its' seat as the second largest criminal market to drugs & weapons.
